World Senior Citizens Day

This day was officially founded by the former US President Ronald Reagan. He signed on 19th August 1988 the promulgation of 5847, which appeared on 21st August as National Day of the Third Age. It is to raise awareness of older people and to support them during the ageing process. It also allows us to thank them for everything they have done for their children and to acknowledge them.
