Park(ing) Day

John Bela created this holiday in 2005 on a drab street in downtown San Francisco, being held on the third Friday of September ever since. It has gone on to enliven countless parking blocks around the world which are normally reserved for parkted cars. There has been a streetisde ping pong table put up, and a giant inflatable Pokemon.
