Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary

This is a feast day celebrating the birth of Mary, the mother of Jesus. Tradition celebrates Marymas as a liturgical feast in most Roman Catholic and Anglican calendars, nine months after the solemnity of her Immaculate Conception on 8th December.
