The current constitution of Mongolia was adopted on this day in 1992, and put into force on 12th February. It established a representative democracy in the country, guaranteeing freedom of religion, rights, travel, expression, unalienable rights, government setup, election cycle and other matters. It was written after the Mongolian Revolution of 1990 adn dissolved the People’s Republic of Mongolia.
