Greece Flag Day

This day celebrates the flag of Greece. It is the day before Oxi Day, which is known as the “Day of No”. This commemorates when the Greeks fought the Axis Powers for Crete, and lost, but their bravery served as an example to the world. Oxi Day is a national reminder of what the Greek people are capable of, and the day before serves as an example of what the Greek flag stands for.
