Earth Day is an annual event to demonstrate support for environmental protection on 22nd April. It was first held in 1970, and now includes a wide range of events coordinated by EARTHDAY.ORG. This includes 1 billion people in more than 193 countries. There is a theme each year, this year’s is Invest in Our Planet.
