Hari Merdeka

Hari Merdeka is the Independence Day of Malaysia, commemorating the Malayan Declaration of Independence from Great Britain on 31st August 1957, and is defined in Article 160 of the Constitution of Malaysia. The day is marked by ceremonies and observances, as well as an official theme each year.

Kyrgyzstan Independence Day

It is the main state holiday in the country, celebrating the anniversary of the declaration of independence in 1991. The Supreme Council of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan adopted a law on the “Declaration on State Independence of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan”. Due to this, the Kyrgyz Republic was declared an independence state. A military parade is held every 5 years.

Trinidad and Tobago Independence Day

It commemorates when the country proclaimed independence from Great Britain in 1962, after the government chose to seek independence after the end of World War 2.
