Russia Flag Day

This day has been celebrated since 1994, but it was on this day in 1991 that it was adopted after the fall of the Soviet Union and a failed coup in Moscow. It is celebrated with plenty of free events in libraries, parks and cultural centres such as concerts, lectures, exhibitions and workshops.
