Bennington Battle Day

Bennington Battle Day is a holiday unique to the state of Vermont in USA. It commemorates the American victory over the British at the Battle of Bennington during the American Revolutionary War in 1777. There is a battle re-enactment every year in the state held by the local history foundation.
