Argentina Independence Day
The congress of Tucuman declared the independence of Argentina on 9th July 1816. However they declared independence of the United Provinces of South America, which is today one of the legal names of the Argentine Republic.
South Sudan Independence Day
South Sudan declared independence from Sudan on 9th July 2011, after a vote was held in January of that year, with 98.83% of the population voting for independence.
Palau Constitution Day
Today commemorates the adoption of Palau’s 1981 constitution.
